Product Profile of Fully Automatic Band Saw Machine

Lalita machine tools presents fully automatic band saw machine.

The prominent features of the products are as follows:

• Saw head: two rigid hard-chrome plated & ground vertical columns, which are guided by pre-lubricated bushes, support saw head unit. Bearings carbide wears pads guide the blade. The blade can be tightened and released hydraulically. The blade is hydraulically tightened upto recommended tensile strength of the saw blade, the saw is driven by sufficient drive power to cut material.

• Auto work height control: the quick approach arm eliminates the need for the operator to manually adjust the blade height to accommodate different sizes of the arm make contact, when the saw starts cutting.

• Blade guides: the guide ensures accurate cutting & long blade life. They are factory set. It consists of spring loaded, self-adjusting carbide-faced inserts. Adjustment screws are provided to allow easy blade changing. The blade is guided by roller bearing & carbide wear pads.

• Saw feed: saw feed "up & down" motion is controlled by hydraulic cylinder and regulates by a pressure regulated feed valve.

• Job clamping: hydraulic valves controls job clamping. The jaws of the front & rear vice are in one straight line and perpendicular to the blade. Hydraulic valves control the movement of jaws of both the vices.

• Split front vice: this unique vice design permits the work piece to be automatically indexed to a bar-end remant of 50mm only. The vice securely clamps the work piece or both side of the cut thus minimizing drop-off burrs. This design is most suitable for nesting or bundle cutting, and is ideal for cutting short length pieces.

• Auto length indexing & length counter: indexing also does the automatic feeding of job. The feed length can set by means of screw & digital counter assembly with length accuracy of +/- 0.2mm. The handwheel is provided to set the cutting length upto 400-mm, which can be read on digital counter in increment of olmm. The multiple stroke makes it possible to multiply the number of index cycle when pieces longer than 400mm are required.

• Nesting fixture/bundle clamping: a nesting fixture set consists of hydraulic vertical clamps, which are mounted on the rear and the front vices. This makes it possible to cut multiple pieces at a time.

• Powered blade cleaning brush: the power driven brush keeps the blade free from chips for smoother cutting & increases the performance/life of the blade.
